Storekeeper

• The Store Keeper is responsible for the efficient management of the warehouse and inventory at our Duty-Free shop in La Goulette. This role ensures that all goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately, maintaining a seamless flow of stock to the sales floor while strictly adhering to customs and security regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory & Stock Management

• Receiving Goods: Oversee the reception of all incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against delivery notes and invoices.
• Storage Optimization: Organize the warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization and easy access to high-turnover items.
• Stock Replenishment: Coordinate with the sales team to ensure shelves are consistently replenished from the warehouse.
• Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
• Waste Management: Monitor expiry dates (for skincare/confectionery) and report any damaged or obsolete stock to management.

Systems & Compliance

• ERP Updates: Accurately input all stock movements (receipts, transfers, adjustments) into the ERP system.
• Customs Documentation: Ensure all paperwork related to bonded goods is correctly filed and compliant with Tunisian customs regulations.
• Security: Maintain strict control over warehouse access to prevent loss or theft.
• Safety: Adhere to Health & Safety standards for manual handling and storage of goods (e.g., fragile liquors).

Operational Support

• Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with delivery drivers and suppliers for efficient unloading and document signing.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly or monthly stock reports for the Finance and Management teams.
• Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, dry, and organized at all times.

• Experience: Previous experience in warehouse management or stock control, preferably in retail or logistics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using ERP or inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English, French, and Arabic.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock boxes.
• Core Competencies: High level of organizational skills, integrity, and strong attention to detail.
• Integrity: Clean criminal record is mandatory for customs clearance and port access.
