Senior Manager-Information Technology

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute the terminal’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Drive digitalization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and customer service.
• Lead IT governance, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.

IT Operations & Infrastructure:

• versee the daily operations of IT systems, including TOS, Gate systems, OCR, Yard automation, and related applications.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and scalability of IT infrastructure, servers, and networks.
• Manage cybersecurity risks, ensuring data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

Projects & Innovation:

• Lead IT-related projects, upgrades, and system integrations with ERP, Finance, HR, and other enterprise platforms.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Cloud, Analytics) relevant to terminal operations.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors to ensure system connectivity and performance.

People & Vendors Management:

• Lead and develop the IT team, ensuring high performance, skill growth, and service orientation.
• Manage relationships with software vendors, hardware suppliers, and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor service-level agreements, and optimize IT costs.

Compliance & Security:

• Ensure IT systems comply with Algerian regulations, Group IT policies and international standards (ISO 27001, IMO cybersecurity guidelines).
• Implement audit controls, risk assessments, and IT security frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and local regulations.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 1012 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within the port, logistics, or transport industry.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Gate & OCR solutions, and automation technologies.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
