The selected candidate will support lifting operations and will be primarily responsible for the management of demurrage activities related to crude oil, condensate, and LPG cargoes, in full compliance with terminal lifting procedures.The role includes monitoring vessel operations, collecting and validating operational data required for demurrage assessment, preparing and following up on claims, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation.The position requires daily coordination and communication with:the Buyer, for alignment on commercial and contractual aspects;the terminal operator (SONATRACH), for the operational follow‑up of loading activities and the management of waiting times.The overall objective is to ensure efficient lifting operations, correct application of contractual terms, and accurate, proactive demurrage management, contributing to cost control and operational excellence. Technical & Professional SkillsExcellent command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) and solid proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Prior experience in shipping, lifting operations, cargo documentation, or demurrage claims management (preferred).Strong understanding of oil, condensate, and LPG cargo operations, vessel turnaround, and laytime principles (a plus).Ability to review, interpret, and apply contractual clauses, especially those related to laytime and demurrage.Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and operate under time pressure. Communication & Interpersonal SkillsExcellent ability to interface with authorities, terminal operators, and external stakeholders in a professional manner.Strong communication and coordination skills to interact daily with the Buyer, terminal staff, and internal teams.Proven ability to work in multicultural and multinational environments. LanguagesExcellent command of English (spoken and written).Excellent command of French (spoken and written).
