Job Summary:The Supply Planning Associate is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and managing confirmed shipments to ensure the timely availability of products and services in line with business needs, operational schedules, and established timelines. The role supports smooth supply chain operations by ensuring effective coordination between suppliers, logistics partners, commercial teams, and internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and closely monitor shipment activities to ensure products are delivered on time and according to business requirements.Receive, review, verify, and process shipping and delivery documents from suppliers, freight forwarders, customs clearance agents, and insurance companies.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all shipment-related documentation and follow up on any discrepancies.Maintain and regularly update databases related to local, national, and international suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.Manage shipment requests and ensure proper execution of shipping, customs clearance, insurance procedures, and product distribution.Coordinate with internal logistics teams and commercial departments to monitor internal shipments and ensure operational efficiency.Liaise with external partners, including suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and insurance brokers, to manage all aspects of external shipments.Follow up on shipment status, identify potential delays or issues, and ensure timely resolution.Ensure compliance with company procedures, logistics standards, and operational requirements.Support continuous improvement of supply chain processes by maintaining accurate records and providing relevant information to stakeholders.Required Competencies:Financial Acumen: Ability to understand and use financial information and key indicators to support effective business decisions.Planning and Organizing: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, coordinate activities, and efficiently use available resources to achieve objectives.Accountability: Demonstrates ownership of responsibilities, follows company procedures, and ensures accuracy and quality of work.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different internal and external stakeholders, ensuring information is shared accurately and on time.Self-Awareness: Ability to seek feedback, recognize areas for improvement, and continuously develop skills and performance.
