EHS Site supervisor

Missions:

• Conduct EHS orientations for workers & visitors under GEV scope prior to start

• Perform at least a weekly EHS communication (tool  box talk)  for the whole GEV scope (manage records).

• Conduct   regular   safety  inspections   of   construction   activities  and  of  each subcontractor  to  monitor  compliance with  GE  EHS  program,  the  Project  EHS Program and applicable regulations. Edit inspection reports.

• Drive  weekly   EHS   meetings   for   the   GEV  team   (including   Subcontractor management).

• Assist the EHS manager in completing Job Safety Analysis/Risk assessments, review and approve all JSA/RA for works in GEV scope.

• Ensure  a safe work environment  by  frequent  turn around  on the  project site.

• Advise the management of unsafe acts/conditions observed and track corrective action in appropriate system to eliminate the unsafe act/condition.

• Track actions until closure and check the application of disciplinary action system.

• Report  and  conduct/assist  accident  investigations, root causes  analysis  and formulate  recommendations  for corrective/preventative actions  (record  case  in appropriate tracking system).

• Ensure  compliance of GEV waste management:  storage  area,  transportation by agreed vendors, elimination in agreed center and recordkeeping.

• Liaise with partner, Contractors/Subcontractors,  insurance  representatives,  local medical services, local fire and police departments, local regulatory agencies, and Customer/Client on EHS related matters.
