Pedagogical Affairs LeadPosition OverviewThe Pedagogical Affairs Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the academic quality,consistency, and innovation of IRACADEMY and HTC’s language and professionaltraining programs. This role combines academic leadership, quality assurance,and operational support, with a strong focus on teacher management, program supervision, and pedagogical development.The Pedagogical Affairs Lead acts as a bridge between teachers, learners, and management, ensuring smooth program delivery, continuous improvement, and the implementation of modern, student-centered teaching practices aligned with international standards.Key Responsibilities1. Academic Quality & Program Development- Oversee the quality assurance of all programs, ensuring alignment with institutional standards and learner needs.-Launch, monitor, and supervise new products and courses.- Develop, update, and maintain program and product sheets.-Ensure uninterrupted course delivery by managing class substitutions and intervention when needed.-Set and coordinate the annual academic calendar in collaboration with the.Operations & Administration Coordinator.-Support marketing initiatives by contributing to the development of promotional and academic content in collaboration with the Marketing team.2. Teacher Recruitment, Training & Support-Lead the recruitment process: job postings, candidate screening,interviews, and onboarding.-Maintain and supervise the teachers’ database.Design and implement a hiring plan to meet institutional objectives.-Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback through scheduled sessions or written reports.-Organize and supervise the annual teacher training calendar.-Respond promptly to teachers’ pedagogical requests and remarks.-Send kickoff emails to teachers at the beginning of each course, ensuring clarity and consistency.3. Learner Support & Academic GuidanceMonitor classroom progress and attendance, addressing concerns and intervening when necessary.- Respond to learners’ pedagogical remarks and concerns withprofessionalism and solutions.-Administer placement, diagnostic, and level tests, including conducting speaking assessments when required.-Recommend suitable programs or coursebooks for private or customized courses.-Design, launch, and supervise extracurricular activities (e.g., clubs,workshops, cultural events, competitions) that complement academic learning and enrich the learners experience.4. Corporate Training Programs- Analyze and respond to corporate training requests, preparing tailored pedagogical proposals.- Ensure pedagogical alignment of training offers with client expectations and institutional standards.5. International Exams and accreditations- Oversee international exams and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with global standards.Required Qualifications & Skills :- Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Education, AppliedLinguistics, TESOL, CELTA, or a related field.- Experience:- At least 3–5 years of experience in academic coordination, teacher training, or program supervision..... -Strong background in English language teaching (Business Englishor ESP is a plus).-Managerial or Administrative experiences are important.-Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.- Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies, learner-centeredpractices, and EdTech tools.-Ability to design, supervise, and evaluate academic programs.- Languages: Proficiency in English (C1 or higher). French and Arabic are strong assets.
